The latter comes in the form of river flea shrimp, also known as gammarus, and mealworms, forming the basic supply of animal protein. Owners can offer their pets additional animal protein depending on their individual needs.

If you do need 2.5 kg of food, it's better to order five 500-gram bags instead of one 2.5 kg bag, for freshness reasons. Once a bag of organic food is opened, it needs to be eaten quickly to maintain freshness.
