The Little One Tasty Maze Tunnel is a sturdy snack tunnel for rodents and rabbits. The tunnel combines a hiding place, crawl-through, and nibbling spot all in one. The outside features a tasty topping of seeds, puffed grains, vegetables, and/or fruit, depending on the size chosen.
At DRD, when it comes to snack tunnels, we focus primarily on the right size for the right animal. Not every tunnel fits every animal. That is why the green animal logos on the product image are the guide: they show which animals the tunnel is suitable for in each size. This way, you choose not only a fun snack, but also a tunnel that truly fits in terms of size and use.
✔ Combines snack, tunnel, and hiding place
✔ Available in three sizes for different animals
✔ Stimulates nibbling, searching, pulling, and exploring
✔ Nice as an enrichment in the enclosure or as a scenography detail
✔ Great choice for owners who want to make snack time more active
The Tasty Maze Tunnel is fun because it does more than just snack. Your pet can nibble on the outside, explore the tunnel, walk through it, or use it as an extra sheltered spot. This makes snack time more active and interesting than with loose snacks from a bowl.
The tunnel is particularly suitable for animals that enjoy exploring, nibbling, and engaging with their surroundings. Small rodents can use the tunnel as a route or hiding place, while larger animals can use the larger version to nibble, look through, fill with hay, or as enrichment in the hay corner.
Because the composition and size vary by variant, it is important to choose the right tunnel. The green animal logos on the product image help with this: they show for each size which animals that tunnel is intended for.
| Mate | Dimensions / capacity | Usage |
|---|---|---|
| Small | approx. 16 × 5 × 5 cm / 100 grams | For small rodents that can walk through a low tunnel and like to nibble on seeds, vegetables, and pieces of fruit. |
| Resourse | approx. 20 × 10 × 10 cm / 250 grams | For animals that need a wider tunnel. Thanks to the topping with puffed and flaked ingredients, it is also fun for a nibble and play moment. |
| Big | approx. 24 × 13 × 13 cm / 300 grams | For larger animals and herbivores. Also suitable for filling with hay for extra foraging value. |
Please note: the green animal logos on the product image remain the definitive choice. Therefore, always carefully check the selected size and the corresponding animal logos before ordering.
The Tasty Maze Tunnel contains snack components such as seeds, puffed grains, vegetables, and/or fruit. For animals for whom you consciously limit fruit and energy-rich snacks, choose with extra care and follow the green animal logos in the image.
Offer the Tasty Maze Tunnel as an additional snack and enrichment. Place the tunnel in a stable spot in the enclosure so that your animal can safely explore, nibble, and potentially walk through it. For small animals, check if the opening is wide enough, and for larger animals, check if the size is a practical fit.
For small animals, offering it temporarily is often wise. Let your animal nibble on it and then remove the tunnel again if you want to limit the amount of snacks. Only put the tunnel back in storage if it remains dry, clean, and tidy.
For guinea pigs, rabbits, and other larger animals, you can also fill the large tunnel with hay. This turns it into a hay and foraging moment instead of just a snack tunnel. This works well for animals for whom hay remains the most important staple.
In hamsterscaping and gerbilscaping, you can use the Tasty Maze Tunnel as a route, hiding place, or temporary snack spot. For example, place it partially between bedding, alongside cork, near a herb corner, or as a short passageway in the setup.
In Ratscaping, the tunnel can be used as a play element or foraging area, provided the size is appropriate. For rats and pygmy rats, it is important that the tunnel is not too narrow and that they can easily get in and out.
For guinea pigs and rabbits, the large version is especially fun as a hay tunnel or gnawing tunnel in a hay corner. Fill it loosely with hay so that your animal has to pull, search, and nibble.
The composition and analysis differ by size. Therefore, do not choose based solely on size, but also on animal suitability and product role. The green animal logos in the image will help you with this.
The Little One Tasty Maze Tunnel is a complementary pet food. Use the tunnel as a snack and enrichment alongside the daily basic food suitable for your pet.
Thanks to the topping with seeds, puffed grains, vegetables, and/or fruit, this is a real snack tunnel. Give it to them consciously and remove it when it is wet, dirty, or no longer clean.
The tunnel is not suitable for animals prone to diabetes. In that case, it is better to choose a snack that fits a calm, less fruity, and lower-energy snacking routine.
That varies by size. The green animal logos on the product image indicate which animals the chosen tunnel is suitable for. So always check this carefully before ordering.
The tunnel is available in Small, Medium, and Large. The current product specification states approx. 16 × 5 × 5 cm, 20 × 10 × 10 cm, and 24 × 13 × 13 cm.
Yes, the small tunnel makes particular sense for small animals such as mice, dwarf hamsters, hamsters, and gerbils. Always check if the opening fits your animal.
Yes, that is especially nice with the larger size. For guinea pigs and rabbits, you can fill the tunnel with hay, so that it becomes more of a hay and foraging moment.
It is both. The tunnel can be used for sheltering, walking through, and exploring, but thanks to the snack topping, it is also a complementary animal feed.
No, this tunnel is not suitable for animals prone to diabetes. The tunnel contains snack components such as seeds, puffed grains, vegetables, and/or fruit.
The tunnel is intended as a snack and chew product, but you don't have to let them eat it all at once. You can offer it temporarily and give it again later, as long as it remains dry, clean, and tidy.
Yes, the small and medium-sized tunnels can be nicely incorporated into hamsterscaping or gerbilscaping, provided the size suits your animal. Use it as a temporary route, hiding place, or snack spot.
With the Little One Tasty Maze Tunnel, you give your pet a snack, tunnel, and foraging moment all in one. A great choice for owners who want to combine nibbling, hiding, searching, and natural activity in a fun way.
