Nutritional Guidelines Supreme Recovery Plus Sachets Forced Feed

Syringe feeding may seem tricky, but don't worry — it's not that hard, it will stimulate your pet's appetite and put them on their way to recovery in just a few days.
Supreme's RecoveryPlus is suitable for rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, degus and other small
herbivores requiring a fibre-rich, liquid diet due to lack of appetite or during
illness/recovery. Weigh your pet and give it one bag of RecoveryPlus per kilogram of body weight per
day, mixed with 90 ml of warm water. Feed small at regular intervals throughout the day
portions with a feeding syringe. RecoveryPlus contains Vitamin C, so there is no need to use guinea pigs and
to give extra degus.

Recovering animals often need to be stimulated to eat. This very tasty food stimulates the appetite and is easily digestible. Specially selected ingredients promote digestion, stabilize intestinal bacteria and support the immune system. It also contains high levels of long fiber and protein, and essential vitamins to aid in successful recovery from bowel immobility and other critical care situations.

Instructions for use

1. Mix the sachet with 90 ml of warm water and stir well to form a smooth paste
2. Aspirate a manageable area with the syringe
3. Place the animal on your lap with the head away from your body
4. Place the nozzle of the syringe in the side of the mouth and inject the paste into the back of the mouth,
always a little bit
5. Allow the animal to swallow in between – stimulate this by gently rubbing the throat. you learn
automatically how much the animal can handle at a time
6. Keep going until a sufficient amount has been eaten - this can be a little at first and increase as the animal gets stronger
