Rabbits Herbs for your rabbit!
Rabbit herbs for your rabbit, both fresh and dried, can be ordered easily and quickly at DRD Rodent Shop ®
Rabbit herbs are important for your rabbit. The wild rabbit's diet consists mainly of grasses and herbs. In nature, the wild rabbit knows exactly which herbs can and cannot be eaten and the rabbit will eat what he needs at that moment. There are different types of rabbit herbs, both fresh and dried. Both herbs can be given as a supplement to your rabbit's daily diet!
Specific effect
By immersing yourself in the effect of herbs, it is possible to support your rabbit in the best possible way. All herbs have a different specific effect. You can find these in the description for each product. Herbs can support rabbits in, for example, periods of stress or during the moult. Even in the event of illness, herbs could be used as a support. Please note: herbs can never replace certain medications or a vet visit. In case of illness, consult the attending veterinarian whether it is wise to offer certain herbs.
Build up rabbit herbs gradually
Rabbit herbs are healthy and can promote the health of your rabbit in a positive way. Supplementing herbs can be done daily, but must be built up. Rabbits have a very sensitive digestive system and all dietary changes should be made gradually.
Fresh or dried rabbit herbs
When it comes to rabbit herbs, we quickly think of dried herbs, which does not necessarily have to be the case. There are also herbs that can be given fresh. You will therefore also find fresh herb plants in the rabbit herb range that you can put in your rabbit's enclosure or feed separately. The plants stay good for a long time and your rabbits will have a lot of "fresh" nibbling pleasure with them. With fresh herb plants it is also important to gradually build up the feeding. Most rabbits will find fresh herbs even tastier than dried herbs. Dried herbs, however, are easier to store and have a significantly longer shelf life.
