Rabbits Herbs for your rabbit!
Rabbit herbs for your rabbit, both fresh and dried, can be ordered quickly and easily at DRD Knaagdierwinkel ®
Rabbit herbs are important to your rabbit. The wild rabbit's diet consists mainly of grasses and herbs. In nature, the wild rabbit knows exactly which herbs can and cannot be eaten and the rabbit will eat what it needs at that moment. There are different types of rabbit herbs, both fresh and dried. Both types of herbs can be given in addition to your rabbit's daily diet!
By delving into the effect of herbs it is possible to support your rabbit in the best possible way. All herbs have a different specific effect. You can find it in the description for each product. Herbs can support rabbits during stress periods or during moulting. Even with illness, herbs could be used for support purposes. Note: herbs can never replace certain medications or a vet visit. In case of illness, consult with the attending veterinarian whether it is wise to offer certain herbs.
Rabbits build up herbs gradually
Rabbit herbs are healthy and can benefit your rabbit's health in a positive way. Supplementing herbs can be done daily, but must be built up. Rabbits have a very sensitive digestive system and all nutritional changes must be made gradually.
Fresh or dried rabbit herbs
When it comes to rabbit herbs, we quickly think of dried herbs, that does not necessarily have to be the case. There are also herbs that can be given fresh. You will therefore also find fresh herb plants in the rabbit herb range that you can put in your rabbit's enclosure or feed it separately. The plants remain good for a long time and your rabbits will have a lot of "fresh" nibbling pleasure. With fresh herb plants it is also important to gradually build up feeding. Most rabbits will like fresh herbs even better than dried herbs. Dried herbs, however, are easier to store and have a significantly longer shelf life.
