The houses of the -series can be buried in the ground cover up to 13 cm high and thus support the natural, underground way of life of the hamster. The two rooms are used in different ways to ensure a balanced living environment. Each fur nose has its own individual preferences. Over time, each room has a permanent role in your rodent's life!

Rodents have only a low heat tolerance limit. In nature, the animals retreat to the cooling, underground burrow when it's warm - this effect can be simulated with the granite roof in the cage. In summer, the granite rock offers your rodent a pleasant coolness. The roughened granite roof allows the animals' nails to wear down, just like in the wild!

Tip! Moss works like a sponge. Saturated with water, it retains the refreshing liquid for hours, releasing it slowly and continuously, keeping the fine capillaries of the granite slabs moist and cool for a long time. During evaporation, a physical phenomenon automatically lowers the environment: a wonderful climate!

Wide entrances

An adult Syrian Hamster (Golden Hamster) can grow up to 7 cm wide with full cheek pouches. If the entrances to the hamster house are too narrow, the fur nose will have to squeeze through, this can cause the hamster's grains to damage the mucous membranes lining the cheek pouches, which can lead to abscesses in the cheek pouches. A wide passage is therefore very important. Entrances that are too wide for the animals are automatically closed by the animals with ground cover, so that they can sleep undisturbed.
